We believe children need love, care and education with the purpose of making the smoothest transition to the next level. Planning age appropriate activities, flexible but organized daily routine in a day care is the best way to teach child. We respect the children’s world, help them as they become more independent, allow them to make decision and encourage their need to explore and grow. Teaching is a humanitarian activity. A teacher should help children develop in to scholars. They should become problem solver. They should use their knowledge to analyze the world around them to achieve favorable results in diverse environments.
We must also get children to participate in the class communications and discussions. A part of our role is To help kids learn how to confront their learning Barriers and help them learn to think deeply. Teaching Requires learning. It is not merely transferring new knowledge. It should help with the learning of how to integrate that knowledge.
Teaching is an art as well as a science with the focus on a child as a whole.
Our role in Ms. Zohreh’s Irvine Child Care as a facilitator with parents is to help Children and families to meet their needs by providing a safe, caring and educational environment. It is to become a part of the production and being able to work as a partner with families and the community.
We are able to help the families support their children’s earning efforts, and connect school and classroom activities with students’ home and the community. |
